THE FORCE ON A 50KG PERSON DUE TO ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY WILL BE F = mg ( that is also equal to the weight of the person)

                 so force = 50 x 10 = 500 N  ( we have taken acc. due to gravity as 10 m/ s 2)--------------(1)

                and electrostatic force = q1 xq2 / 4 (pi) E0 r2  = 50 -------------(2)

                USING THESE FORMULAS WE CAN FIND OUT THE VALUE OF r........ok...

☺ HERE IS YOUR ANSWER ☺

✔ ✔

☆wt. =mg

= 50 × 9.8

Let, the distance between the charges be x

so, F = kq^2/x^2

490 = 9 × 10^9 × 1 × 1/ x^2

or

x^2 = 9 × 10^9/ 490

= 18.36 ×10^6

x = 4.29 × 10^3 (ans)
