Firstly, histone proteins are only present in eukaryotes so when they are synthesized in eukaryotes must not be the question as they r only and only synthesized in eukaryotes. In prokaryotes “histone like proteins” , not “histones” are present.

Histone proteins are the basic proteins

( involves lysine and arginine)

synthesized during “S” phase of the cell cycle .

Histone proteins are basically involved in formation of octamer ( 8 proteins coupled together i.e., H2A, H2B, H3,H4 “2 EACH”) which thenwith linker DNA form nucleosome around which Core DNA is wounded
