At what temperature will the molar k.E of 0.3 mol of he be the same as that of 0.4 mol of ar at 400 k?

R = gas constant , T = temperature


⇒ n1T1 = n2T2   or   n HeTHe =  nArTAr


Put the value of nHe = 0.30  nAr = 0.40  TAr  = 400 K in the  formula, we get


THe  = 533 K
