Mm..then what happens if we keep on decreasing the temperature?? ..the K.E should decrease right!!
That happens..and at a particular point..the kinetic energy bcms 0 and the molecular motion ceases ..this particular temperature is referred as triple point of water (-273.15 C/0K)
