Why does the light bends as it travels through different media? Explain Briefly.​​

Its basically due to density in the medium.

For example,

If light is moving from air to water medium, the light travels fast in air medium as air medium is not denser whereas when it enters water medium which is denser the speed of light decreases which results in bending of light.
