Amount eaten on Monday = 4 / 7
Amount left over after Monday = 1 - 4 / 7 = 3 / 7
Amount eaten on Tuesday = 1 / 2 of 3 / 7 = 3 / 14
Therefore,
Total fraction of pizza eaten = 4 / 7 + 3 / 14 = 8 / 14 + 3 / 14 = ( 8 + 3 ) / 14 = 11 / 14 
Amount left = 1 - 11 / 14 = 3 / 14
Ans. 3 / 14 of the pizza is left
