Answer: -

Schottky Defect

Explanation: -

In the case of Schottky Defect in an ionic crystal, equal number of cations and anions are missing from their lattice points.

This type of defect is shown by highly ionic compounds which generally have  High crystal coordination number and  Same or very small difference in the sizes of cations and anions . A few examples of ionic compounds exhibiting Schottky defect are NaCl, KCl, KBr and CsCl.

As the number of ions in the lattice decreases as a result of the schottky defect, the mass decreases whereas the volume remains the same. Hence bulk density of the solid decreases.

Much obliged to you for making this inquiry. Here is your answer:

The inflatable which is Vacuum has a weight dimension of zero and the water will above all else cover the region of vacuum in the Balloon.  So the inflatable which is loaded up with air will swell first as contrast with the other one. Also, the motivation behind why it will swell initially is the weight it has in it.

In the event that there is any perplexity please leave a remark beneath.
