First of all it is huge topic ,i try to make it short.
first when scientists are study about spectra of hydrogen atom they found some spectra line.so they are explain these spectra line
1)Thomson model
it says that electron are -ve charge which is distributed everywhere in atoms.like a seed in watermelon .
but he theory does not explain anything about hydrogen spectra.
2)Rutherford model
it discover neutron and it say that a +ve charge particle which is present at centre of atom is called nucleus .
it say electron revolve around nucleus ,and loose it energy and fall in nucleus.
but it is also not explain anything about hydrogen spectra line
3)Bohr model
it introduces orbital in atoms,
and say electron revolve around nucleus, but don't loose it energy.
it use debroglie hypothesis .
it theory to able some atom feature.

iam not going further on this topic , hope it is sufficient for u,
if u need more then msg me
