The coin will fall inside

bcoz the applied force is enough to drop it inside as the coin if the coin is heavier than the card.

Okay... simple question... so... what you gotta understand that the coin is under rest. Now when we flick the card, the card is under motion but the know, as mentioned earlier, is under rest. Thus, the coin will not move as it does not experience motion and hence will fall into the cup. This is because of INERTIA OF REST. Inertia is the tendency to maintain its position even when subjected to outwards force.
