Helen was a very bright and happy child She attracted everyone's attention towards her with her mischiefs. In her childhood, she was an eager and self-asserting child. She imitated everyone and learnt walking as well as talking at an early age. She was the first baby in her family so she received all the love and affection of her family members. Helen herself wrote 'I came, I saw, I conquered' as the first baby in the family does. She started walking when she was a•year-old. Her mother had just taken her out of the bath-tub and was holding her in her lap when she started walking towards the leaves that danced in the sunlight. Detailed Answer
:
Miss Sullivan was Helen's instructor, teacher, guide and mentor as well. She was the embodiment of love and patience. She was an understanding person who understood Helen and her needs. She knew how to teach Helen in order to amuse her curiosity in the various subjects. She used innovative and creative methods to teach Helen. Before the arrival of Christmas, she helped Helen prepare surprises for everyone. She played guessing and spelling games with her which surprised Helen. Not only this, Miss Sullivan also put surprises in her stockings and every where she went, like a little child, Helen was very excited to find them wherever she went in the house that day. It was a cheerful day full of pleasant surprises for Helen. Her excitement reached its peak when Helen was presented with a canary, a sweet little bird. Helen soon grew fond of the bird and did every little thing for that bird-feeding it, bathing it, making the bird sleep ete Thus, we can say that it was Miss Sullivan who came as a navigator in the life of Helen and who showed her the path of life.

Mrs. Edith Frank was a good lady. She had two daughters. Margot and
Anne. She always wanted to inculcate good moral values and disciplined
behaviour in her daughters. But sometimes her attitude towards
Anne seemed to be immature. She didn't have an insight into the mind of a
growing teenager. Most of the times she used to scold Anne for
petty affairs and praised Margot in front of her which made Anne feel hurt_ Anne always felt =comfortable in her presence and
regarded her as an imperfect mother. She longed
for a mother who would understand her and love her as all other mothers do. Mrs.
Frank was never seen participating much in the squabbles during their stay in
hiding. She didn't like the selfish attitude of Mrs. Van Dean and
Mr. Alfred Dussel and once or twice reproached them for being selfish. The tension in the Annexe used to give her a
headache. It was leaving its impact on her.
