Detailed Answer : Helen's teacher, Miss Sullivan, taught her everything. She came as a ray of hope into her life. Helen was very happy and excited in her company. One day, she gave violets to her teacher. Miss Sullivan kissed her and said, "I love Helen'. Helen couldn't understand the meaning of love. So, she questioned her about it Miss Sullivan pointed to her heart indicating that it is where love resides. Helen still couldn't understand it as it was an abstract thing which she couldn't touch. She thought that the love was the sweetness of violets, the warmth of the sun but her teacher replied in negative. Helen felt quite strange that Miss Sullivan was unable to show her love. Soon, it started drizzling. Miss Sullivan again pointed it out to Helen. Immediately, Helen realized that love is something which can't be touched. It is an emotion, something which can only be felt with heart.

Detailed Answer :

Helen Adam Keller was a brave and courageous girl. Despite her physical disabilities, she never stepped back a foot. Her life taught her to face difficulties and overcome fear. Miss Sullivan's entry in her life also helped her a lot in overcoming her struggles. Once, when she climbed a tree, and Miss Sullivan went home to get lunch, the weather changed and became stormy. Helen became scared because she was alone on the tree. She decided to jump down but by that time, Miss Sullivan had returned and helped her get down. She was scared to death and realized that nature can be violent also. But this incident didn't deter her. She forgot all about it and climbed the mimosa tree after a few days.

In another incident while playing in the ocean water, her foot struck a rock and she was hurt. Water rushed overhead but she didn't knew what to do. She tried to grab support but she could only catch water in her hand She was scared but somehow she was thrown to the shore. This incident also frightened her but didn't prevent her from going into water again.

When Helen took to writing, she wrote 'The Frost Fairies' and gifted it to Mr. Angus who got it published. She was charged of plagiarism. She had a ghastly time when she had to face her charges but that also didn't prevent her from writing.

Thus, we can say that inspite of her darkness, loneliness, frustration, she kept on moving ahead and never gave up. She was a determined fighter indeed.

The Frank family received a call-up notice. The family got scared. The vision of the concentration camps and lonely cells was frightening. So, they decided to go into hiding even if it had to be a month earlier than what had been planned. Anne and her sister packed most important things in a schoolbag, no Jew in that situation would dare to leave the house with a suitcase full of clothes, so all wrapped themselves in many layers of clothes as if going off to spend the night in refrigerator, each took a satchel and a bag full of important things, Margot-Anne's sister took her bike to reach destination, other three members walked in the pouring rain,. Miep escorted them to the Secret Annexe.

Detailed Answer :

Gestapo handled the Jews in a very inhuman way. According to the entries made by Anne, the Jews were taken to a big camp where they got almost nothing to eat and much less to drink as water was available only for one hour a day. There was only one toilet and sink for several thousand people. The heads of women and children were often shaved off.

Gestapo treated them in a very harsh and cruel way. Mr. Alfred Dussel told the residents about the secret annexe where many Jews had been taken to, a dreadful fate. Every night, the grey green military vehicles cruised the streets and knocked at every door to ask for the Jews. If the Jews were found there, they were immediately taken away from that place, exactly like slave•hunting of old days. The Jews 'who were found there' were bullied and beaten until they nearly dropped. They were so cruel that they didn't spare anyone whether he was sick, elderly, babies or pregnant women. They all were supposed to march to their death.
