Hiiii there!!
I am going to explain the first one-
"Too many cooks spoils the broth". This means that if too many people are engaged in the same work who have different ideas and views, then the work gets spoiled. They argue within themselves that this is right, that is wrong. Arguing makes their work bad and spoiled. So there should not be much people for a particular work whose ideas are different.
Hope it helps....

a. this means that if a dish is being made by too many cooks they are gonna spoil the food item as a person may add flavours or ingredients according to his/her taste and doesn't let other know, others would add more ingredients to their taste and hence it may result in wilt of the food.
b. honestly as we all know is a necessary thing which we all should opt and make sure that others also look at it.if we are honest no one can ever scold us for saying false because we would be honest and would speak the truth and therefore our image would increase in others eyes.
