I wish to bring to your notice about the
disturbance caused to the people in our colony by the loud noise from the Food
for You restaurant in our colony. The restaurant plays music and songs very loudly
after 7 pm daily till late night. They also use speakers that add to the volume
loudness.
There are many senior citizens in our
colony, some of them who have health problems as well. These citizens also go
to bed early. The loud music prevents them from a good sleep. Young children
are also not able to focus on their studies. All our talks with the staff have
yielded no results.

Sir:
I write to your esteemed self to bring your attention to the
problem of noise pollution and the enormous discomfort caused by a newly opened
restaurant in the colony. This playing of loud music has become a commonplace
nuisance. Restaurants are not allowed to host loud music parties, receptions,
ladies sangeet, etc. However, the owner of the restaurant is blatantly
violating the noise pollution norms and laws! There is no peace even during
night. The worst affected people are the very young babies, old people,
patients, and the students.
I appeal to you to look into the matter and take some
action. Playing loud music late into the night is illegal and liable to be
prosecuted. I on behalf of the residents of the society appeal you to take
