I am an owl. My name is Black Bird. I have big round eyes. and strong wings. I fly high in the sky. I live in the jungle with my family. I like eating rats. I have soft black feathers and long nails. I am very good at hunting. I can see far off in the forest.

My name is Mr. Wise. I am an owl. I love to be awake at night. There is no one to disturb me at that time. I can look at the moon and the stars. I can fly all around. I have built my mansion in the bark of a big tree. I sit there and look at the world.        People say that I am very wise. They have also coined a phrase, as wise as an owl. I am very proud about it. Actually I can even see well in the dark. I have very powerful eyesight. I look like a philosopher lost in deep thought, when I sit quietly in my mansion and peep out of my mansion.           
       I mostly live in the forests. But some of my family members have moved to the city where they live in huge trees in deserted areas. They tell me life is very interesting in the cities. I am planning to visit them in the near future. Then I will also see the attractive life in the cities.1
