Those organisms that produces their own food are called autotrophs and those who cannot produce their own food and are dependent on autotrophs for their nutritional requirements are called heterotrophs

Ex- Plants ,bacteria ,etc.

Heterotrophs- Those organisms which obtain readymade food materials from outside sources , because they can't prepare their own food are known as heterotrophs.

Ex- animals,humans,etc.
