Total Quantity = 20 litres.

Quantity of milk = 5L.

Quantity of water = 3L.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now,

4 litres are removed.

So, 20 - 4 = 16L.

Quantity of milk = (5/8) * 16 = 10L

Quantity of Water = (3/8) * 16 = 6L.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now,

It is also given that mixture is replaced by 4 litres of milk.

Hence,

Quantity of milk = 10L + 4L = 14L

Quantity of water = 6L(remains same).

Therefore, the ratio of milk to water :

= > 14 : 6

= > 7 : 3.

Hope this helps!
