Average height of 30 students is 150 cm it was later found the one observation is 165 which was wrongly copied as 135 cm. Find the correct mean height.

average height=m=150cm
no of students =n=30

new mean =(m*n+165-135)/n
=(150*30+165-135)/30
=(4500+30)/30
=4530/30
=453/3
=151
therefore
correct mean =151cm
