Centrosome helps in cell division in animal cells. During cell division, centrioles migrate to the poles of animal cells and are involved in the formation of the spindle.

Answer:

for starters, centrosomes are useful for cell division, and are only found in animal cell. during mitosis they move to opposite pole and help in spindle fibre secretion. because of which the duplicated Nuclie move to opposite poles, thus leading to cytokinesis.
