Step-by-step explanation:

ax+by=(a-b)__(1)

bx-ay=(a+b)__(2)

  • Let eqn(1)×a+eqn(2)×b

= (ax+by)a+(bx-ay)b=(a-b)a+(a+b)b

=a²x+aby+b²x-aby=a²-ab+ab+b²

=a²x+b²x=a²+b²

=x= 1

putting the value in eqn (1) we get

=a×1+by=a-b

= y= -1

hope it is correct and it will help u ❤❤

Step-by-step explanation:

after cross multi

a^2x+abx+aby+b^2y=abx-b^2x-a^2y+aby

now abx and aby gets cancell

a^2x+b^2y=-b^2x - a^2y

x(a^2+b^2)=-y(a^2+b^2)

x=-y
