let's consider 5:3 as 5x and 3x.

If 5x =20000

so by transposition - x= 20000upon5

so x =4000

so 3 x 4000=12000

Answer = the amount invested by musa is 12000

Than , Given that :-

Both Ayanda and Musa invested in a manufacturing business at the ratios 5y : 3y respectively. Also , Ananda's investment i.e. 20000.

To find the amount invested by Musa :-

$= > 5y = 20000$

$= > y = \frac{20000}{5} = 4000$

$= > y = 4000$

According to the Question ,
Musa invested 3y , So :-

$Musa's \: investment= > 3y = 3 \times 4000$

$Musa's \: investment= > 12000$
