Ayurveda is an Indian Traditional system of medicine.

According to Ayurveda, there are three main constituents of body called doshas. They are

1. Vata - means 'air' in Sanskrit.

2. Pitta - means bile

3. kappa - means phlegm.

In a normal human being, all the three doshas should be in balance, but when there is a greater difference, it results in problems. Based on the dominating constituent, The body types are divided into 3 as

Ayurveda is a system of traditional medicine developed during antiquity and the medieval period, and as such is comparable to pre-modern Chinese and European systems of medicine. However, beginning in the 1960s, Ayurveda has been advertised as alternative medicine in the Western world.
