The problems he would have faced were that he was not able to leave his house and go to work and make some profit so he could buy some food and also he was not able to afford anything because he had came from a village.

He would have had to make his way through that nights by trying to find shelter and getting some fruits from the nearest trees.

The problems he might have faced to get back to his village were he might not have been able to leave the place and go somewhere else because whereas they would not accept him because they would think that he might or might not be infected.
