b) An object of mass 16 kg is moving
with an acceleration of 3 m/s.
Calculate the applied force. If the
same force is applied on an object of
mass 24 kg, how much will be the
acceleration? (Ans: 48 N, 2 m/s^)

i hope it will help you

Explanation:

F= ma

=16*3=48N

a=F÷m

=48÷24= 2m/s

Answer:

1. Applied force = 48 N

2. Acceleration = 2 m/s^2

Explanation:

1. m = 16   a = 3 m/s^2

F = m*a

F = 16*3 = 48 N

2. Now if m = 24kg and Force is same

a = F/m

a = 48/24 = 2 m/s^2

note: unit of acceleration is always m/s^2 and not m/s
