Well you are familiar with the numbers like 1 , -2 , 1/2 , 0 etc.

Is there any relationship between these numbers . If you look then you realised that somehow these can be expressed as the ratio of two integers.

-2 = -4/ 2 , 0 = 0/4 , 0.2 = 1/5

And that's the thing , rational numbers are those numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q where q never equal to 0.

Well , why q never equal to 0 ?
