a complementary angle is an angle which together makes a 90°angle.

let one angle be x and other be y

therefore, x+y=90°

since x and y are equal (according to question)

thus, we can replace y with x

=x+x=90°

=2x=90°

=x=90°/2

=x=45°

hence, the two angles measure 45° each
