Fission in Amoeba and Plasmodium difference

(i) In amoeba , it divides by a single fission and produces two daughter cells each time it divides .

(ii) In plasmodium , it divides and produces multiple daughter cells each time it divides .

(i) Thus multiplication of amoeba by fission is slower as it can produce only two daughter cell each time.

(ii) In plasmodium , multiplication is faster because it produces multiple daughter cells each time .

Hope it helps !
