Compressibility is the property of a fluid (or a solid) due to which it's volume decrease when pressure is applied . The particles in gaes have large space between them due to which their volume decreases too much when pressure is applied on them . So gases have High compressibility .

On the other hand, the particles in solids and liquids are closely packed , solids and liquids have not much compressibility.
