Answer:

Since the common difference is 4,the sequence is an arithmetic sequence

Let a be the first term ,d be the common difference,n be the number of terms,

n=5,d=4,5th term=18

nth term=a+(n-1)d

5th term=a+(5–1)*4

18=a+16

a=18–16=2

First term is 2

To find the 10 term

n=10,a=2,d=4

nth term=a+(n--1)d

10 th term=2+(10–1)*4=2+9*4=2+36=38

Answer first term=2

Tenth term=38
