Let the total percentage =100%
Percentage of vote jyotiraditya =100%-42%=58%

=42/100*40000=16800 votes (for Arjun)

Total vote - vote obtained by Arjun = vote obtained by jyotiraditya
= 40000-16800= 23200 votes

Therefore, jyotiraditya obtained 23200 votes
