Indus valley civilization was well planned

Explanation:

  • For a variety of factors, the cities of Indus Valley were established. First, the cities were established near the River Indus because the Indians needed water from the river to drink, wash and farm their fields. They even made boats for commuting up & down the rivers. Secondly, the towns were constructed on massive platforms and high fields to defend them from seasonal floods and contaminated water because the river was quite nearby.
  • In addition, storage, sanitation, & waste management had been an essential  part of Indus people's daily concerns, and also  wells, granaries and reliable drainage systems exist. The  people  also had religious values and an admiration for the way the town & streets were orientated – east to west , north to south with regard to the rising sun & sunset. The houses had the same look and each had access to the same "sanitary & drainage system" to ensure shared harmony, dignity & equality for all.
  • Indus Valley Civilisation's engineering ability was exceptional because of its age, too. In their building methods they  adopted modern principles, and achieved advanced construction standards. The standard of urban planning indicates urban planning expertise and successful local govts that gave high hygienic priority. Though the Indus Valley 's population (the number of people) was about five million inhabitants, their organisation was comparable to any modern city.
  • In the cities there were well-organized drainage networks for waste water , garbage disposal systems & probably even granaries & baths. Individual houses used to draw water from wells, whereas waste water on the main streets was directed into covered drains.  The houses opened exclusively to "inner courtyards & small lanes"  the smallest houses on the outskirts of the city, were considered to be linked with the system and further stated that cleanliness was an essential matter. Though the citadels & large walls existed temples, monuments & palaces  temples are not visible. Indus's new architecture was displayed with dockyards, granaries, storerooms, platforms of bricks and defensive walls.
