It was 3 o’clock in the morning when I heard a knock at the door…
I tried to ignore the noise but it wasn’t easy: the stranger seemed really determined.
After a couple of minutes I was so upset that I decided to open and yell at the nuisance to go away; but what I saw when I opened the door amazed me so much that I thought I was stiil dreaming: right in front of me there was a little girl with pretty blue eyes and blonde hair. She also wore a black trenchcoat and suspicious sunglasses.
“ ‘Morning lady,what’s going on up there?” she said with a weird deep voice,I didn’t know how to answer so I just squint and cleared my throat loudly…but the little girl talked again.
“Well,I’m here for…you know.”
“I don’t think so,what should I know?” I whispered still in shock, that wasn’t at all the way I expected to start my day
“You should know that I’m here for…the family business.If you know what I’m talking about”
I had no idea what she was talking about but the situation went too far, so I looked right in her eyes and asked:
“What kind of ‘family business’?”
She took of her sunglasses and made a very cute,innocent smile.
And then she changed into a ghost eating a mouse.
I quickly closed the door.
Nobody should felt so attacked by a little pretty girl.
