i) In SET A, we have put electrodes in pure water and plugged it to a power source to make the bulb glow. But the bulb isn't glowing.
In SET B, we have put the electrodes in a solution of Sodium Chloride in water. Here the bulb is glowing.
ii) In set up B when the electrodes are placed in a sodium chloride solution, the bulb does glow. The solvated sodium and chloride ions carry charges through the solution, completing the circuit and allowing the bulb to glow.
