Any two types of education are: formal education and informal education.

• Formal education is the one that a person receives at school or similar places. In formal education everything is planned, like the fee structure, courses to be covered, examination structure, etc. Formal education lets the child learn from teachers that are experienced and helps the person to acquire knowledge which could help him in getting a job.
• Informal education is learning things outside the school which are not that systematic. For example: learning something from your own from the internet, or learning to cook from your mother, etc. In informal learning there is no fee structure and it let's the person learn on his own.

Answer :-

The process of acquiring knowledge in any field through any medium which helps in enhancing one's mind is known as education.

Education can be of many types, few of them are as follows :-

1. Formal Education
2. Informal Education
3. Non-Formal Education

Let us discuss these types of education in a bit detail.

1. Formal Education :- A systematic way of receiving knowledge by attending school or university is known as Formal Education. A proper schedule is followed in formal education where a student enrolled has to compulsory follow the rules and regulations and has to study all the subjects respectively. Syllabus, teachers, proper time-table are some important features of formal education. Formal education is sequential in nature, i.e., a sequence is followed in achieving it like you need to complete Grade I in order to get promoted to Grade II and so on.
2. Informal Education :- A type of education in which the practical exposure of the student helps him to learn new things is known as Informal Education. It is unstructured and non-sequential in nature and it can be learnt everywhere whether it be from your friends or family etc. Eg. :- A child learning to tie her hair, tie her shoelaces, or learning about different skills while playing some sports, or learning some new language while meeting new people from a different region etc.
3. Non-Formal Education :- A type of education which is learnt outside the school but is structured in nature is known as Non-Formal Education. A simple example could be a coaching for some exam, or regular lessons for some sport etc.
