Now at this stage, the reader might think ..’why does the author not take her home and put her up for the period of time?’

The simple answer will be “litigation”.

We live in a litigious society.People want to sue each other…only for looking at now as you can see the author practices due caution.

What prompted the reader to pose this question…only asking???

I'll try to do the possible needful at the earliest. If it would be a serious case of dejection then I'll take her to hospital also.
