Answer:

468.75 cm2

l = 37.5

b = 12.5

Step-by-step explanation:

length = 3 × breadth

P(rectangle) = P(Square)

P(Square) = 4a

a = sqrt(625)

we will go from the bottom to top

a = 25

P(square) = 4 × 25

= 100

P(rectangle) = 2(l+b)

= 100

we have 2 eqns:

2(l+b) = 100

l = 3b

on replacing the value of l in first eqn, we get:

2((3b) + b) = 100

8b = 100

b = 100/8

= 12.5

because l = 3b

l = 3(12.5)

l = 37.5

A(rectangle) = l × b

= 37.5 × 12.5

= 468.75 cm2
