To find

Surface area of sphere

Solution

Let

r is radius of sphere

a is area of sphere

As we know that

surface \: area \: of \: sphere = 4 \times \pi \times  {r}^{2}

put

\pi  =  \frac{22}{7}

we get

a = 4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7

by multiplication we get

a = 4 \times 22 \times 7

a = 616 {cm}^{2}

hence area of sphere is 616 {cm}^{2}
