  1. Pistil:- The main function of the pistil is to produce ovule. Other functions and importance of pistil include: It is the female reproductive part of a flower. It receives pollen and helps in the fertilization process.
  2. Sepal:- The initial function of sepals is to provide support and protection for a flower bud as they close up around it until it's ready to bloom. The sepals surround the petals and the reproductive organs inside the flower and protect them from harsh environmental conditions and drying out.
  3. Petals:-Petals (collectively called the corolla) are also sterile floral parts that usually function as visually conspicuous elements serving to attract specific pollinators to the flower. The calyx and the corolla together are referred to as the perianth.
