(b) Most of the rivers of the world originate from snow capped mountains. The heat of the sun causes the snow to melt which, results in the formation of these rivers. So, they can be considered to be an indirect form of solar energy.

(c) Nuclear fusion generates tremendous amount of energy but, it does not give out any harmful radiation as in the case of nuclear fission.
