International Women's Day (March 8) is a worldwide commemoration of women's social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments. The day is also a call to action for greater gender equality.
The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2022 is #BreakTheBias. Bias, whether intentional or unconscious, makes it difficult for women to advance. It's not enough to recognise bias. To level the playing field, action is required.
On March 8, 2022, XYZ College commemorated International Women's Day. The goal of celebrating Women's Day is to raise awareness among students about women's status and dignity. Many kids participated in an essay writing competition on Women's Day in the morning. It was fascinating to learn that boys were also involved. Following the conclusion of the essay writing competition, a short programme was held in our college's multipurpose hall. Our revered Principal sir presented a short message on Women's Day at the start of the event. Then there are some enjoyable activities. Sari draping, hair styling, and button stitching were among the activities. It was a great time. Finally, the victors of the events are awarded prizes.
