My parents left me alone once, when l was 6. They silently snuck out of the apartment while l was sleep. I had a nightmare which caused me to wake up with heavy breaths. l shouted my parents'  name but there was no response. It was monsoon season, and there was heavy rain and thunderstorms. A lightning bolt struck and all of a sudden the electricity cut off. l looked around but I couldn't see properly and to my horror, I couldn't see or find my parents. l heard hushed voices at the door and I was so scared because I thought I would be kidnapped. Fortunately, it was my parents. They also had food and lots of delicacies they had bought for me. I was so glad to see them, I forgot all about my nightmare.
