bacteria don't have chloroplast but some are phototrophic in nature. which part of bacterial cell performs this ?

Bacterial cell do nothave chloroplast but yet somephotoautotrophic bacteria perform photosynthesis due to the presence of chlorophyll in cooperated in the membrane. Embedded in the cell membrane are reaction centers which specifically absorb light energy.
