• Two very common diseases of plants caused by bacteria are black rot of mustard and cauliflower and bacterial blight of cowpea ("lobia")

IN ANIMALS

1. Anthrax – Swelling of body and reduced milk yield in cattles.

• 2. Tuberculosis – Lungs affected , dry husky cough.
