As a nation we celebrate all festival which are celebrated by any religion on earth like Holi , Dilwai , EID , Christmas. So its society's duty & responsibility to celebrate in order not to hurt environment or planet .
like we should not violate the pollution & noise regulation by govt on diwali's celebration . on Holi we should not drain extra water as world itself facing drinking water crisis .On eid we also not harm animals as killing of animals in mass could hurt the environment & ecological balance .
on Christmas eve we take care of lots X- Mus trees as those are made of PVC .

Many festivals like diwali, holi, etc. have bad effects on our environment. Diwali makes the air polluted as we burn crackers, holi is the utter wastage of water. Moreover, we Indians do visarjan (immersion) of the idols of gods and goddesses in rivers. We also play music on loudspeakers on festivals. This way, air, water, noise and land, all are polluted and the environmental objectives made by the government are proving to be of no use.
