The ratio of salary of skilled and unskilled workers = 5:3

Let be 5x : 3x

To solving the x we can write as

5x + 3x = 720

By solving the equation, we get

8x = 720

x = 720 / 8

x = 90

Now we can find

Salary of skilled workers = 5x = 5×(90) = ₹ 450

Salart of unskilled workers = 3x = 3 ×(90) = ₹ 270
