Answer: (b) Udaipur
Explanation:
Bagolia pond is found in the district of Udaipur. It was last overflown in the year 1973.
Maharana Udaisingh of Mewar won the battle against Banbir which took place in Beedghas village which is nearly 3 kms from Mavli. The victory helped him save the Sisodia clan. The city of Udaipur was founded by him.
The quantum of rainfall has started declining over the years which also led to problem for potable water. The village had two ponds namely Nathela and Naya Talab (Hemsagar) which hardly receive water from rain.
There was another pond, Bagolia in the village which too remained dry. This pond was meant for irrigation.
Hope this helps.
