Hi friend,

Baking soda is also called " Sodium Biscarbonate " ( NaHCo3 )

As an absorbable antacid , sodium bicarbonate quickly neutralizes stomach acid and relieves symptoms of acid reflux.

Baking soda is thought to mimic the effect of natural sodium bicarbonate production in the body....i hope it helps you

Being alkaline, baking soda neutralizes excess of acid in the stomach and provides relief.
