Hello dear,

● Balanced reaction -
2Al + 2NaOH + 2H2O --> 2NaAlO2 + 3H2

● Extra information -
Elemental aluminum when treated with sodium hydroxide gives sodium aluminate & hydrogen.
Al + NaOH + H2O --> NaAlO2 + H2

To balance any equation, we have to equalize no of each entity on both sides.
2Al + 2NaOH + 2H2O --> 2NaAlO2 + 3H2

Here, each side has 2Na, 2Al, 4O, 6H i.e. the eqn is balanced.

Hope this helps you.
