a balanced diet to a 12 year old child should include all the nutrients in a proper amount has carbohydrates fats proteins vitamins and minerals roughage calcium which would help them to grow faster.

food items
• fruits such as apple ,banana orange, pineapple.

• vegetables such leafy vegetables - spinach. lady's finger, and other vegetables such as potato tomato cucumber.

•for fats and proteins -- children should be given meat chicken fish egg.

• consume a lot of water.

• 2 glass of milk daily..
