Sodium Hydroxide is reacted with carbon dioxide to to form sodium carbonate and water. should add 2 before sodium hydroxide and then the reaction is balanced because it has 2 at atoms of sodium on each side and 4 atoms of Oxygen and on each side 2 atoms of hydrogen on each side and 1 atoms of carbon on each side
