Balance the equation and at last plz solve my doubt which I asked don't just copy paste the answer-ca(po4)2+sio2=p4o10+casio3 Plz tell from where does "3" came in - ca"3"(po4)2 if I have written wrong eqn. plz tell me?

Answer:

Unbalanced equation :-

Ca3(PO4)2 + SiO2 ------> P4O10 + CaSiO3

Balanced equation :-

2Ca3(PO4)2 + 6SiO2 ------> P4O10 + 6CaSiO3

As for your question where is 3 came in Ca3(PO4)2 . 3 came in Ca because of the valency of PO4 .

Valency of PO4 = -3
